I think it is so interesting that someone would recreate the optimal digital editing software (Photoshop) as a child-like representation of craft. It is rare that someone who does not practice art as a living or career would spend the time anymore to create art with their own hands. Not a lot of people will admit that they are artistic- due to the fact that they think they cannot produce art well. When it comes to art, there are no rules. I think most people can benefit from the rewards of confidence a completed art project can bring.
Wrangler Jeans Stunt Campaign - We are animals. This makes a statement about Wrangler’s target audience and their psycographics. It shows that they are young, wild and free. Their insticts should not be something to fear, but to be acted upon- like an animal’s.
From the press release:
“In today’s society, our animal instincts are smothered by daily modern life, city-living and constant technological developments. Man is an animal, but he no longer knows it.
Wrangler’s new strategic and creative platform seeks to re-awaken our bottled-up instincts and to encourage who and what we fundamentally are, by putting all that is pure, natural and instinctive back into Man.”

What if this could be the future of road signs? The stop lights today are considered digital in the aspect of it’s changing colors- but this takes it a step further. Could this help decrease the amount of drivers that run red/yellow lights? If they run lights now, they might always run lights even though they are given the exact amount of time until the light will turn red.
I think the design of this futuristic is very clever. It seems obvious that a timed light is similar to an hour glass, but the application of it all is on point.
I get crafty!
Hot glue crayons to canvas and run a blow dryer (high heat, low blow) over the crayons. Magic.
Nessie Pins, Cute Thumb Tacks in the Shape of the Loch Ness Monster
Not only are these pins functional, but also fun. If you know you are going to be using multiple pins, why not make a creature out of it? This stems off of the idea of personalized magnets and pins, but in the most creative way I have seen yet.

The Office: I adore Jim and Pam. I’m waiting to meet the wrong guy and have Jim win me over, or just be lucky and find the perfect guy and have first dibs. Lonely girl problems

If you play Temple Run, you know exactly what this is.
How do games become such a phenomenon? And once they become popular, no one knows how long the fad will last. Not too long ago, the talk of the app-world was the Angry Birds app that was #1 on iTunes. I’m sure the birds are really angry now, because the new top app for the iPhone/iPod/iPad is Temple Run. The player uses his or her finger to make a running man turn left or right, jump or slide- that’s it. He dodges the harsh environment of some kind of temple while gaining coins. It sounds pretty boring to me and the graphics aren’t that exciting; but, boy is it addictive. But what’s the next big thing? Temple Run will run its course in the digital space…for now.

Wait, that’s all of us. Stop talking trash about “what’s wrong with today’s world/ society?” We are all in need of change. Change yourself and help others change, too. But we will never be alike. If you don’t believe that, then you’re in the right society, I guess. Ignorance is not bliss- it makes you a dumb ass. Xo
